A simple, easy to prepare Hummus recipe made from Garbanzo beans, Tahini, Lemon Juice, Garlic and more...

Serves: 8
  • 2 cups of canned garbanzo beans (also known as chickpeas), drained
  • ⅓ cup of tahini
  • ¼ cup of lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, halved
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1 pinch of paprika
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1 tsp of minced fresh parsley
  1. Place the garbanzo beans, tahini, lemon juice, salt and garlic in a blender or food processor
  2. Blend until smooth
  3. Transfer mixture to a serving bowl
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the garbanzo bean mixture
  5. Sprinkle with paprika and parsley
  6. Serve immediately with fresh, warm or toasted pita bread, or cover and refrigerate
