Who doesn’t love a delicious slice of apple pie every now and then, right? Well sadly, as good as apple pie may be, it isn’t the healthiest of foods to eat, and certainly won’t do your gorgeous figure any good, especially when it comes to that oh so yummy crust.

Well, never fear, because we have the perfect substitute for your apple pie cravings! It ‘s a low calorie apple pie shake, and it tastes just as good as apple pie, just without all the calories and unhealthy stuff. So now you can enjoy your favourite desert, while still sticking to your healthy eating plan.

How to Make a Low Cal Apple Pie Shake

Ingredients

  • 2 cups vanilla fat free frozen yogurt
  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon apple pie spice (can be substituted with cinnamon)
  • 1 cup skim milk

Directions

Put the glasses in the freezer to chill. In a blender, combine the yogurt, applesauce and apple pie spice. Add the milk and blend just until mixed. Serve in chilled glasses.

So there you go… now you can have your pie and “drink” it… 🙂
