Fat Free Beef and Cheese Balls Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 x 8 ounce (225g) package of fat-free cream cheese (at room temperature)
  • 1 x 2 1/2 ounce (70g) jar of dried beef (finely chopped)
  • 3 finely chopped green onion tops
  • 2 tablespoons of pickled relish

Directions

  1. Cream the soft cream cheese and half of the chopped dried beef.
  2. Add the green onion and pickled relish, and mix well.
  3. Chill the mixture in a covered container for 1 to 2 hours, then form the mix into balls.
  4. Roll the balls in the rest of the dried beef pieces.
  5. Let them stand at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving with crackers.

Tip

Use whole wheat crackers to maximize the health benefits.
