A simple Pinto Bean Dip Recipe with Jalapeno’s and an assortment of spices...

Serves: 25-30 Servings
  • 2 x 15 ounce (ca 425g) cans of pinto beans, drained
  • 8 slices of canned jalapenos and 2 tablespoons of juice
  • ½ teaspoon of paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon of garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • ⅛ to ¼ teaspoon of cayenne pepper
  1. Puree all the ingredients in a food processor or blender on high speed until smooth.
  2. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  3. Serve with baked tortilla chips or on chalupas with lettuce, tomatoes and low fat cheese.
