Serves: 4
  • 8 Slices of Whole Wheat Bread
  • ¼ Cup of Fat-free Thousand Island Dressing
  • 8 oz. (225g) of Low Sodium Turkey Breast
  • ½ Cup of Sauerkraut (rinsed and drained)
  • 4 Slices of Reduced Fat Swiss Cheese
  • Olive Oil Cooking Spray
  1. Spread the Thousand Island Dressing on one side of each slice of bread
  2. Stack the sandwiches with turkey, sauerkraut and cheese
  3. Spray a large pan with olive oil spray and cook 2 sandwiches over medium heat for 4 minutes per side
  4. Make sure the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted
  5. Serve hot

(Makes 4 servings)


You can adjust the amount of Sauerkraut to your preferred taste.
